Student Ambassadors for Water

A group of 24 Holy Angels students visited the Wisconsin Pharmacal facility in Jackson at the conclusion of the Penny War for Water project. The project was a response to the tsunami crisis on the other side of the globe. A revised grand total $4587.10 was collected in pennies, other coins and through matching donations. The students presented Wisconsin Pharmacal CEO John Wundrock with a check which will help to purchase more than 3800 bottles of Potable Aqua. The donation also translates to nearly 100,000 liters of drinkable water in the affected area.

The students enjoyed a tour of the laboratories and manufacturing areas. They were also treated to lunch and were presented with a special plaque from Wisconsin Pharmacal.
