Sixth Graders Feast ‘n Fun Like Greeks
The sixth graders concluded their study of the ancient Greek culture with an olympic-type event. Following the procession, the toga-clad students participated in a series of events that included speed (running), dexterity (hula-hoop), and knowledge and cunning (answering riddles). Students received medals for their efforts before moving on the the Greek feast with an abundance of culinary delights. Mrs. Arndt and Mrs. Walker presided over the activities with the help of several parent and grandparent volunteers.
