Sixth Grade Creates Egyptian Exhibit
Sixth grade Social Studies students wrapped up their study of Ancient Egypt by “wrapping up” their own mummy and making a tomb to bury it in, complete with a sarcophagus, Egyptian wall drawings, homemade papyrus with secret messages written in hieroglyphics, jeweled pharaoh collars, papyrus boats to journey with in the after-life, and gold pharaoh masks. Their first grade Little Buddies were treated to a tour of the tomb and all its wonderful creations.
