Sixth Grade and Environmental Stewardship

The sixth graders participated in the Environmental Stewardship Program at Camp Gray on September 25-26. At the camp, located near Wisconsin Dells, the students learned about miracle of God’s creation and our role in being good stewards of creation. The students discovered the beginnings of life in a cattail marsh and the wandering path of a small stream (before it finally reaches the Gulf of Mexico). In the chapel, the students also reflected on the light of life during vespers. Campers also had the opportunity to enjoy canoeing, archery, crafts, late night trivia by the fireplace, and a “solo hike” in nature.
