Sights and Sounds From the Past
The Cedar Room was filled with the sights and sounds of ages past as the sixth graders hosted their annual Medieval Faire on May 17th. The shared this report… We had studied the Middle Ages for several weeks before “faire” time. We got to pick an occupation from that period and write a diary. We also designed family crests. On Friday we put on four performances of our Medieval Faire for the entire school as well as many parents and invited guests. We sang Medieval songs and played some on our recorders. Several students got to perform a Maypole Dance. Then we invited our guests to visit our shops. A great time was had by all.
