Seder Meal Ends Lenten Season

Every two years, Holy Angels students gather in the Walnut and Cedar Rooms for lunch, but there’s something very different about the setting.  The lunch tables are covered with tablecloths, there are candles at each table, and there is a special place setting with various items for each student.

Preparing for the Easter Triduum, the students recall events of the past with a special Seder Meal.  With prayers taken from the traditional Passover celebration, students join in prayer and song as they eat and drink items which have religious significance.

Younger students ask the four special questions and all have the opportunity to ponder the many blessings which God has provided for His Chosen People (and us).
