Science Fair / Fine Arts Blend

The bi-annual Science Fair took on a decidedly “green” theme this year. Students provided a wide array of projects that focused on energy and ecology. Some projects suggested ways to generate energy, while others demonstrated ways of taking care of waste in a beneficial way. Efficient use of resources were also studied and presented by several participants. Fifth and sixth graders were required to participate, but many other students shared their learning as well. The fair was organized by science teacher Kara Peck.

In addition to science, the arts also had a chance to shine. Student-selected artwork was on display throughout the evening. Members of the HA Chorus and Holy Angels Forensics team performed, as did several Star Band members. The students in the K4 Program provided some wonderful entertainment with the help of some older siblings to start the evening.
