Science and Fine Arts Mix

The bi-annual Science Fair and an annual celebration of the Fine Arts Evening combined to provide an evening filled with sights, sounds, and wonders at Holy Angels. On display throughout the night were science fair projects which provided many new insights into the world of science. Projects included trying to run an electrical current through honey to creating a hothouse for early seed growth to examining the effects of different beverages on plants. A display of vintage computers also brought back memories for parents who first learned how to use computers with the Commodore 64 or other early models.

The evening began with the Four-Year-Old Kindergarten entertaining a packed Cedar Room with their song about sights in the sky. As Mrs. Rose told the story, the students provided the musical backdrop for the whimsical tale. Following the K4 students, members of the Holy Angels Chorus delighted the crowd with several numbers from their repertoire. Holy Angels Forensics Team members warmed up for their upcoming competition at State by presenting several pieces. Musicians and singers from the Solo and Ensemble Contest also provided entertainment with their musical talents.
