Scholarship Presented

The Robyn Beck Family was a recent recipient of one of this year’s Holy Angels Education Scholarships presented by West Bend Chevrolet-Oldsmobile-Cadillac. Each of the four scholarships is worth $500 with the family receiving $400 towards tuition. Another $100 is presented to a charitable cause selected by the scholarship recipient. The Beck’s chose the Friends of Abused Families to receive the donation.

Dealership owner Raj Dutt established the scholarship program as a way of supporting families in the West Bend area. According to Kevin Geldreich, Parts and Services Manager, “Many families initially submitted applications and from these four were chosen to receive this year’s scholarships.”

In their application, Mrs. Beck noted that they chose Holy Angels “to teach my children good Christian values”. Family members are active at school functions, the Health Room, FunFest, and the hot lunch program.

In presenting the scholarship, West Bend Chevrolet-Oldsmobile-Cadillac owner Raj Dutt expressed his desire to continue the program again because of the positive response he received when he initiated the scholarship last year. The Holy Angels School Board is grateful for his support and interest in education.
