Scholarship Presented

In celebration of Catholic Schools Week, Raj Dutt of West Bend Chevrolet-Oldsmobile- Cadillac recently presented the third of four Holy Angels Education Scholarships. The Paul and Debbie Stoffel Family was selected by the West Bend auto dealer for the scholarship presentation. According to Kevin Geldreich, Parts and Services Manager, “35 families initially submitted applications and from these four were chosen for the scholarships.”

Each scholarship is worth $500 with the family receiving $400 towards tuition. Another $100 is presented to a charitable cause selected by the scholarship recipient. The Stoffel’s chose the “Make-A-Wish” Foundation to receive the donation.

In their application, the Stoffel’s noted that “we were impressed with the ‘family’ atmosphere we felt at Holy Angels. The parental involvement was so impressive.” Family members are active with the annual Fish Fry, Family Fun Night, Magazine Drive, Market Day, Valentine’s Party, Gifts from the Heart Raffle, coaching basketball and being part of the Athletic Committee.

In presenting the scholarship, West Bend Chevrolet-Oldsmobile- Cadillac owner Raj Dutt expressed his desire to support families in the West Bend community. The Holy Angels School Board is grateful for his support and interest in education. The final scholarship of the school year will be presented in April.
