Saints Alive!

In celebration of the Feast of All Saint, the fourth graders planned the all-school Mass.  But that’s not what made the day extraordinary!

In the weeks before the November 1st feast day, each student selected a saint.  They researched “their saint” and prepared a short informational presentation about their special person.  The fourth graders even dressed like their saint for the all-school Mass.

During the homily at Mass, Fr. Jerry had real, live “visual aids” as various fourth graders rose in their place whenever Fr. Jerry referred to many of them as he talked about “action heroes”.

Following Mass, the students created info-stations in the Walnut Room. Parishioners and other students had an opportunity to learn more about all of the saints who were studied…our action heroes!
