Parents in the Classrooms

The annual Parent-in-the-Classroom Nights provided an opportunity for Holy Angels parents to gather information about the new school year first hand.  For the parents of junior high students, it also meant some exercise.

The first evening for parents of students in grades K3 through five included a presentation by the Washington County Sheriff’s Department on Internet Safety.  Parents then visited their child’s classroom where teachers provided insights regarding the expectations of the school year for students and a glimpse of some of the excitement to come.

At the second evening, junior high parents were greeted with their child’s daily schedule.  Following some general comments (and commercials) in the gym, it was time to get to the first class within the 2-minute passing time!  Parents were able to meet with each of their child’s teachers by following the modified schedule of classes. Sixth grade parents also had the chance to meet with teachers and hear about the upcoming Camp Gray experience for sixth graders.
