Parents in Classrooms

The annual Parent in the Classroom Nights provided an opportunity for parents to get a better sense of what their children experience each day at Holy Angels.  Following a general presentation, parents met with teachers in classrooms to listen to expectations and anticipations for the new school year.

For the parents of junior high students, it meant a hot, sweltery start in the gym, followed by an evening of moving from warm classroom to warm classroom (just like the start of the school year for students!). Most parents were able to successfully navigate their junior high student’s schedule of classes. However, requests for donations to the classroom air-conditioning fund were ignored.

Sixth grade parents also got a preview of the Camp Gray overnight experience and the Environmental Stewardship Program.
