Where children grow in faith, knowledge, values, and respect.
I was born in Malta and lived in Africa through third grade. After that, I grew up in southern California. I graduated from University of California at Berkeley with degrees in Physical Anthropology and Economics and then earned my teaching certificate in science from California State University at Northridge. I taught middle school science at Luther Burbank Middle School for sixteen years before moving to Wisconsin. I've been teaching science here for the past fifteen years or so. In addition to science, I have worked with the math program and am piloting a Future Problem Solvers curriculum which will include 5th graders competing this year. For information about Future Problem Solving, check out this link, https://www.wisfps.org/. Along with Sam Engelbrecht, I lead the after school robotics program and host an informal knitting/crocheting club as well.
