Just a little about Mrs. Gibbon....

Mrs. Gibbon graduated from UW-Oshkosh in December of 1987 with a BA in elementary education and a minor in language arts. She started teaching 3rd grade at Holy Angels in 1988. She taught 3rd grade from 1988-2015. In 2015 she became the technology coordinator and taught technology classes. In 2021 she took on the role of the art teacher while continuing to serve as the technology coordinator and teacher. She is the facilitator for the Yearbook and the Art Club.

Art Club (Grades 6-8)

This year we will be starting an Art Club. We will be meeting in the Art Room the first and third Wednesday of the month. This club does have a $50 fee to pay for costs. Here is a link to the calendar for Art Club.

Art at a glance (updated weekly)

K3	K3 will use glue and pompoms to create their own Christmas tree.
K4	K4 will create a Christmas ornament this week using patterns.
K5	K5 will use their painted sheets this week to create a landscape. We will then create a gnome for our landscape. We will call this our holiday collage.
1st Grade	First grade will continue learning about Alexander Calder this week as they continue working on their mobiles.
2nd Grade	The second graders will finish their oil pastel shaded ornament this week.
3rd Grade	The third graders will finish their 1 point perspective this week.
4th Grade	The fourth graders will finish their pointillism leaves this week.
5th Grade	The fifth graders will create evergreen limbs with dimensional ornaments this week.
6th Grade	The sixth graders will begin learning about body proportions as they create their personalized nutcracker this week.
7th Grade	The seventh graders will begin their environmental art poster this week.
8th Grade	The 8th graders will continue workling on their agamograph. An agamograph is a two sided design. Depending on which angle of the art piece you are looking at, it will look different.
