Lac Lawrann visits HAS

The second and third graders at Holy Angels are participating in “Story Time” this year with the Lac Lawrann Conservancy.  Lac Lawrann’s program began in 2001 with weekly visits to one classroom in Hartford.  Today, volunteers visit about 68 classes monthly in four school districts, in both public and parochial schools, in grades kindergarten to third grade.

Each visit to the school includes a story and an activity aimed at enhancing an appreciation and respect for the natural environment.  This year the students at Holy Angels will learn about the fox, wolf, and various birds.
