Junior High on the “Ropes”

The 7th and 8th grade junior high students recently participated in team building and problem solving activities at the WBHS Ropes Course. Students learned how to work together and “think outside the box” as they negotiated cable tightropes, built bridges between “mountaintops”, avoided giant spider webs, and un-twist. Learning to respect and encourage classmates was also an important aspect of the experience as students were challenged and extended their own abilities.

The sixth grade junior high students will be attending Camp Gray at a later date for an overnight experience which includes team building and also opportunities for environmental learning and spiritual reflection and growth.
