Holy Angels Family Receives Scholarship

The Sheryl Knoeck Family was a recent recipient of the second of this year’s Holy Angels Education Scholarships presented by West Bend Chevrolet-Oldsmobile-Cadillac. Each of the four scholarships is worth $500 with the family receiving $400 towards tuition. Another $100 is presented to a charitable cause selected by the scholarship recipient. The Knoeck’s chose the American Heart Association to receive the donation.

The scholarship program was established in 2001 as a way of supporting families in the West Bend area. According to Kevin Geldreich, Parts and Services Manager, “Each year, many families initially submitted applications and from these four were chosen to receive this year’s scholarships.”

A Holy Angels graduate, Mrs. Knoeck noted that she chose Holy Angels for her own children because it provides “a very good education and a very strong spiritual foundation which has helped me deal with my life’s joys and sorrows. I am also thankful for the caring teachers we have that teach by example their Christian values. My children have a wonderful sense of how God works in our everyday lives.” Mrs. Knoeck is involved in the school and parish in fund raising events, hot lunch program, yearbook committee, as a room parent, religious education teacher, and festival volunteer.
