Halloween Helps Others

Holy Angels students put a different twist on Halloween this year. Rather that just collecting candy and treats for their own goody bag, neighborhoods of Holy Angels students dropped off goodies for others as they went door-to-door. Collection points in several neighborhood gathered canned goods and other non-perishables for the Full Shelf Food Pantry. As part of a parish effort to reach out to others in our local community, the HA Parent Activities Club coordinated the school effort to help replenish the local food pantry.

The primary grades also had a fall prayer service. The students gave praise to God for a bountiful harvest and also prayed for safety during the weekend trick-or-treat. Members of the HA Chorus provided song for the prayer service.
