Greek Celebration for 6th Grade
The study of ancient antiquity can sometimes get a little “old”. But for the sixth graders at Holy Angels, their study of the ancient Greeks ended with a morning Toga Party…okay, not the type one would see at a college fraternity, but one that would include Olympic and non-Olympic events.
Students tried their skill in several physical events and also tested their brain-power and dexterity. In the end, all were able to enjoy a Greek Feast with ethnic foods prepared by students (or so they said!). The event was coordinated by sixth grade teacher Patty Arndt with the help of several volunteers.
