Garden of Gratitude

After 41 years of service to the Holy Angels community, first grade teacher Mary Ann Kletzine will finally “graduate” – or as some may call it…retire.  Known by hundreds of former students at “Miss Wagner”, Mary Ann was recently surprised with the dedication of a butterfly garden on parish grounds in honor of her.  The garden is a symbol of appreciation for her many years serving the school and parish community as a teacher, pre-school religious education coordinator, and so much more!

The garden is located in front of the parish office and church and features many plantings which will attract butterflies.  Suitably engraves stones are also part of the garden.  Thanks to Christy Carey and Linda Stanek for their efforts in creating this special space.
