FSEA Towers Stand Up to the Test

Students participating in the Future Scientists and Engineers of America program recently completed a straw tower activity. Teams used straws to design and construct a tower to withstand ever increasing weights. The winning tower was constructed by seventh graders Ellie Steiner and Katie VanCamp. FSEA is coordinated by Sara Krull and is open to students in grades four through eight. The next projects involves electric motors.
