Fourth Scholarship Presented

The Dennis and Karen Steinhardt Family were recent recipients of the fourth Holy Angels Education Scholarship presented by West Bend Chevrolet-Oldsmobile-Cadillac. Each scholarship is worth $500 with the family receiving $400 towards tuition. Another $100 is presented to a charitable cause selected by the scholarship recipient. The Steinhardt’s chose the Full Shelf Food Pantry to receive the donation.

Dealership owner Raj Dutt established the scholarship program as a way of supporting families in the West Bend area. According to Kevin Geldreich, Parts and ServicesManager, “Many families initially submitted applications and from these four were chosen to receive this year’s scholarships.”

In their application, the Steinhardt’s noted that Holy Angels “nurtures religion, family values, and self-esteem.” Family members are active with the Magazine Drive, annual Fish Fry, Valentine’s Party, as a Room Parent and Teacher/Office Helper. They also chair an activity at the Festival of Angels.
