Family Fall Fun at Lac Lawrann

A delightful fall evening for Holy Angels families began with a tailgate party as members of the Parent Activities Committee (PAC) served hamburgers and hot dogs  on the school playground.  From there, a caravan of cars proceeded to the Lac Lawrann Nature Conservancy where other school families had already begun their scavenger hunt, looking for a variety of items.

Volunteers also provided some interesting opportunities as kids petted snakes and hunted for crickets.  The students discovered many exciting things as they completed their passport by find objects or participating in activities.

The evening comcluded with singing songs around the campfire and a robust cheer as the Brewers clinched a spot in the NL championship with an extra innings win.

Many thanks to the staff and volunteers of Lac Lawrann for an enjoyable evening for all, to the HAS-HOPE volunteers for their help at stations, and to the PAC for coordinating food and refreshments during all of the fun!
