D.A.R.E. Graduation

As part of the Developmental Guidance Curriculum students in fifth grade participate in the Drug Awareness and Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program.  D.A.R.E. is provided at Holy Angels by the Washington County Sheriff’s Department.  Recently, students completed the program and celebrated with a graduation ceremony. In preparation for graduation, students composed essays regarding what they learned and pledged to avoid illegal use of drugs.

The graduation included several essays read by students and commentary from guests which included the Washington County Sheriff, District Attorney, and Mayor of West Bend. Following the graduation, fifth graders signed each other’s shirts and enjoyed refreshments.
