CSW in Review

This year’s celebration of Catholic Schools Week included many opportunities to gather as a learning faith community that enjoys doing things together. As a prelude, the PAC sponsored an evening of fun at a Kick-Off Event. In addition to a volleyball tourney and yard games, there was also music for dancing, the Kohl’s Color Wheel, board games and more!

On Monday, the three levels participated in the annual Catholic Quiz Bowl. Tuesday’s special guest was David HB Drake who entertained and taught about the wonderful state of Wisconsin with a focus on the music from the mid-to-late 1800s. Coincidentally, it was the same time period that saw the founding of Holy Angels School!

On Wednesday, we gathered together with students from the other West Bend Catholic schools for Mass which included the traditional St. Blaise Blessing.  Big and Little Buddies got together on Thursday to work on service projects as part of our outreach to others in the community.

Friday concluded the week with the annual student-faculty basketball game (the students barely pulled out the win!) which included halftime entertainment by the 100-year-olds (aka first graders).  The newly-formed HA Dance Team also performed at the end of the game.
