Catholic Schools Week… Student-Faculty Game

In a game where the students were directed to “show no mercy” to their teachers, the faculty played tough and were only down by one point at halftime (see Day 100 photos below). In spite of being “hacked” continually, the stout-hearted faculty almost pulled the game out in the closing seconds when a desperation shot was ruled to be after the buzzer. The students narrowly escaped the slugfest with a 32-30 win.

[Actually…the students were most kind to their educational mentors and the handful of “ringers” which were necessary to keep the game interesting. The 8th graders were generous in allowing teachers to take open shots and, in the closing seconds, committed “turnovers” to give the teachers a chance… way to go guys!]
