Camp Gray
The sixth graders recently participated in the Environmental Stewardship Program at Camp Gray near Wisconsin Dells. The students saw nature close-up as they traveled through various woodlands, prairies, and marshes.
During the eco-rotations, participants learned about invasive species, the length of time it takes different materials to decompose (if at all), the value of wetlands, and the life of a stream.
The overnight experience provided opportunities for fun and also time for quiet reflection and prayer.
