Buddies Enjoy Day at the Zoo

The Big and Little Buddies recently enjoyed a sunny, warm October day together at the Milwaukee County Zoo. The Buddies visited each of the areas of the Zoo looking for animals with habitats in each of the continents. Students quickly noted which countries were the home of various mammals, reptiles, and birds. Favorite locations included the Primate House (did you know that apes can recognize their reflection but monkeys can’t?), the Pachyderms (otherwise known as…?), the Jelly Fish, and the Polar Bear (when he wasn’t just lying around!). The students learned more about God’s wonderful gift of creation and diversity in the animals found around the world. Special thanks to the many parents who chaperoned and the sponsors of our busses.
