BB Season Ends with Pot Luck Supper

The 2010-11 basketball season was remembered as families of the basketball players gathered for the annual Pot Luck Supper. The was a bounty of delicious food in the two buffet lines which included everything from the player-favorite pizzas to brats, pasta, and the acclaimed cashew chicken chow mein. With a wide variety of salads, everyone found something delectable. But the food was only a side show. Holy Angels grads Lisa Koller and Joe Meurer provided a glimpse into high school life and share sage advice with the someday-high-school-students which included being open to new things and participating is service opportunities.

Basketball coaches provided some highlights for their teams. For some, it was a great win-loss record, for others it involved growth in skills from the previous year. One team went from zero wins in fifth grade to over .500 this year and the eighth grade girls received a berth and first round bye in the Padre Serra Tournament (the season still has a few more weeks for them!).
