Back in Time

Fourth graders studying the history of Wisconsin took the opportunity to learn about the past by re-living a day in the life of an 1800s school. Taught by Miss Spiegelhof and Miss Schweitzer, the students practiced their lessons, grouped by “age” for assignments in the “one-room schoolhouse”, and ate lunches carried to school in buckets. The students’ attire sometimes made it difficult to do what they might in their 21st century clothes. Otherwise, it was a fun day to live in the past!
