6th Grade Camp

The sixth graders were more quiet than usual during homeroom on Friday, September 28th. They had just spent the last two days at Camp Gray and the lack of sleep, combined with outdoor activities, had taken its toll.

At the camp, the students learned about nature and ways to appreciate and protect God’s creation. They also worked together to discover new meanings in parables. Some quiet individual time allowed students to see and hear the world around them a little differently. There were also opportunities to just have fun with each other as students enjoyed canoing, fishing, hiking (and sloshing through a swamp!), sports, bonfire (with s’mores), and late-night charades.
